 Since April 29, 2010 in Copenhagen will begin a major exhibition dedicated to the design as one of the essential areas of human activity. It will be named "10+ Design Forecast" (that means "Design Forecast for 10 years") and will review progress achieved in the field of design that have occurred in the first decade of the new millennium. The exhibition will help to understand what design trends will play a more significant role in the future.

 In this anniversary year Odense City Museums have decided to further focus on the history of the city and Fyn island, where is Odense located. May 14, 1860 in the newspapers "Fyens Avis" and "Fyens Stiftstidende" came the announcement of the formation of community to found a museum in Odense. July 19 of the same year the museum community has been created. One year later it was lead to the creation of the first museum in Odense, entitled Nordisk Museum. At its base in the next 150 years Odense City Museums (Odense Bys Museer) have grown.

 After an extensive restoration the church garden of Kai Munk will be donated to the Ringkøbing-Skjern Museum. This will happen at 1st of May, 2010. Even today many people come to look at the church garden and to walk in the park, which will be open to the public during all year. Therefore, it is expected that after the opening of exhibitions in the new building, which will occur in the coming months, the old Kai Munk's church garden will be one more popular and most visited place.

 Aprill 16, 2010 Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is celebrating her 70 anniversary. For this reason the Danish Artillery Regiment will salute by 27 shots from the historical bronze guns of Kronborg - the oldest artillery in the world, which still shoots. By tradition, fireworks will be given at 12:00 from the bastion of Kronborg Castle (the bastion will be open from 11.30 for visitors).
