 In September 2011 ARKEN received a very generous donation from The Merla Art Foundation, London, founded by Dennis and Jytte Merla Dresing, consisting of a total of eight works by the world-famous British artist Damien Hirst (b. 1965).

ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum soon will have a record attendance. A current record is 373 ths.visiters, but it`s most likely to be broken. Most of its guests have been attracted by an enormous rainbow (Your Rainbow Panorama), built on a museum roof by Olafur Eliasson, a Danish-Icelandic artist.

 This September “Art Copenhagen” exhibition took place in Copenhagen. The exhibition guests were lucky to see Andy Warhol himself. The exhibition was dedicated to the sculpture "Andy walking. Andy tired. Andy taking a little snooze...". It is made out of silicone and Andy Warhol looks so realistic, as if he was still alive.

The first book of cooking secrets of His Royal Highness in Russian, “Prince Henrik’s Recipes: Danish Royal Cuisine” gift book, was published by Ayaks-Press in 2009.

 A new Museum of Natural History will be opened soon in Copenhagen. According to Danish media "Licitationen - Byggeriets Dagblad", the museum will occupy an area of 37 thousand square meters, so the Danish University and Property Agency (DUPA) announced a concurance for the best project to provide technical consulting support.
