 Одно из мест в городе Ольборге, что на севере полуострова Ютландия, хранит память о Францисканском мужском монастыре, действующем в 13-16 вв. Францисканские монахи - члены ордена, основанного св. Франциском Ассизским в 1223 г. в Италии, пришли в Данию из Германии. Их первое появление на территории Дании было зафиксировано в 1232 г., а к 1250 г. они дошли до северной части страны, и начали постройку церкви в Ольборге. |

 The Alexander Nevsky Church is the only Russian Orthodox church in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built by the Russian Government between 1881 and 1883, prompted by Princess Dagmar of Denmark's marriage to Alexander Alexandrovich on 9 November 1866 and their later ascent to the Russian throne as Tsar Alexander III of Russia and Tsaritsa Maria Feodorovna. The church is dedicated to the Russian patron saint Alexander Nevsky. |

 Denmark was the first and only long time (in Scandinavia) the country in close and regular contact with the Christian world. They have begun no later than the end of VII century. When Denmark entered into direct contact with the Frankish empire. Another source of penetration of Christian ideas were Emporia, collecting the merchants from the countries of Christendom.
