The continental part of Denmark has a moderate marine climate. The warm current Gulf Stream makes the climate milder. In wintertime day temperature is about 0°C, night temperature is slightly frosty: up to -2°C. Summer weather is fine and warm, the hottest month is July. Day temperature in July is +18..+20°C, night temperature is about +11..+13°C. Average annual precipitation fluctuates from 800 mm on the western coast of Jutland to 450 mm on the coast of the Store Belt strait in the east of the country. Maximum rainfall occurs since July till October, with the peak meaning in September (from 90 mm in the west of the country to 40 mm in the east).
