From 21st to 24th of July 2010 in Aalborg (North Jutland, Denmark) held an international regatta «The Tall Ships Races 2010». The annual regatta started on July 10-13 in Antwerp (Belgium) and from there the ships went to Aalborg. In the program of The Tall Ships Races 2010 is also Kristiansand (Norway, 29 July - 1 August) and Hartlipul (UK, 7-10 August). Thus the race route passes through 4 international port city, via the North Sea, through the fjords and archipelagos of Denmark and Norway.The program of the regatta includes more than 80 ships from Denmark, Norway, Great Britain, Netherlands, Poland, Indonesia, Oman and other countries. Russia was represented at the regatta by three ships - «Kruzenstern» (Kaliningrad), «Mir» (St. Petersburg) and «Shtandard» (St. Petersburg). For visitors The Tall Ships Races is not only a great opportunity to go on the boards and enjoy by the promenade. The program of the regatta is extremely rich by interesting events and concerts. Thus, in the days of the regatta in Aalborg you can see a live performance of Backseat (Denmark), Shu-bi-dua (Denmark), Young Dubliners (USA), Magtens Korridorer (Denmark), Sebastian Band (Denmark) and many others. Last night of the Tall Ships Races in Aalborg was ended by colorful fireworks. Marina V.
