Roskilde Festival is the largest North European culture and music festival and has existed since 1971. This is non-profit organisation consisting of about 25 full-time employees and thousands of volunteers. Each year the profits from the Roskilde festival are donated directly to humanitarian and cultural purposes.There are many bands and thouthands visitors will be at the Festival, which will take place from 1st till 4th July 2010. All tickets almost saled and now people just wait for the show. When Bob Marley played at Roskilde Festival in 1978, Talking Heads in 1979, U2 in 1982, Metallica in 1986 and Radiohead in 1997 (just to mention few among countless artists), Roskilde has again and again demonstrated that this is the place to experience new, sprouting names, contemporary stars and timeless legends. Roskilde Festival has surprised its audience throughout history, and you can prepare yourself to be surprised again. This year the Bands list includes Gorillaz, Jack Johnson, Musem Nephew, Prince, The Prodigy, Alice in Chains, Dizzi Mizz Lizzy, Kashmir, Motorhead, Julian Marley, Meshuggah, Porcupine Tree and many others.
