An exhibition that called "Your History" will take part in the Copenhagen's Round Tower starting from 28 of August until October 2010. It is dedicated to Danes who want to tell their story of their ancestors from 18th century.This is going to be the first time in Denmark, when it is proposed to have exhibits of country residents that are interested in history of their ancestors. The exhibition will include history of all class of people from 18th century. Jewellery, the Bible, pictures of houses or just a pieces of that time can be used as an exhibit of Danish families history. There are three National associations of Genealogy that are organizing the exhibition: Danish genealogic and personal history community, the Family history association and DIS Denmark-genealogical data base. At the moment the exhibition is pre-called "Your history" and is part of a complex program, that is also includes lectures, studies as well as other activities where everyone can be inspired and start their journey to the past. The exhibition will take part during the historical fest called "The golden days that will be concentrated on 18th century. Curator Rasmus Agerfort, who will pick the pieces for the October exhibition, had told in his interview to www.historie-online.dk that everyone is looking forward to interesting stories, that 18th century is full of and genealogy helps to dig them out.
