Food lovers certainly have something to look forward to. From the 21th August through the 30 August, gastronomic experiences are on the menu when Copenhagen invites you to Copenhagen Cooking. This is the third time that Nordens Madfestival (The Nordic Food Festival) will be held. Once again, Tivoli and the food fair for connoisseurs, eat 07, are on the program. On of the event's ultimate gourmet experience occurs when the Michelin restaurant Kiin Kiin plays host to the world's best Thai chef.Ten days of culinary enjoyment await you when Copenhagen Cooking celebrates gastronomy with an extensive food festival. Copenhagen Cooking held its first event in 2005 and has since been a major attraction among Copenhageners and visitors. Now, it is time to pamper your taste buds again. "Copenhagen is filled with flavourful experiences during Copenhagen Cooking and there is something for every palate. We have sublime, world-class gourmet experiences, cooking schools for children and national kitchens for the adults. The Nordic kitchen is a large part of the program, but international cuisine is also represented. The common factor for all the kitchens is the high quality," says Thomas Meier Lorenzen, Project Manager at Wonderful Copenhagen. Throughout Copenhagen Cooking, there will be irresistible temptations on offer at the city's best restaurants as well as at squares, markets and on various city streets. Tivoli's program offers daily taste sensations, competitions and open kitchens. From the 25 - 26 August, Øksnehallen exhibition centre hosts the luxury food show eat 07. Denmark's best producers and specialist of food, wine and delicacies come together to celebrate good taste and uncompromising quality. The Copenhagen Cooking program is being prepared and will be available in July. Read more about the food festival on www.copenhagencooking.com. |
