Andreas-Vilhelm Faber (1847—1883) — the Danish writer; has transferred on the Danish stage many French and German plays and together with Karl Meller has written some original plays (under 'Peter Soerensen' pseudonym). The collection of his songs under the name "Sang og Klang" has been published in Copenhagen in 1873. Other collection - " Viser og Vers " - was published in 1877 A.V.Faber also published collection of sonnets and popular songs ("Den tapre Landsoldat ", on music in 1848, became the Danish Marseillaise), written by his father, Peter Faber (1810—1877). |
