Each summer the Danes with fond memories of their roots, organizing festivals of the Vikings with the reconstruction of past and fictional. One of the largest and perhaps the best is the festival in Frederikssund. For half a century, about 250 adults and children to don costumes and act out every night in the open events of the Viking Age. As a rule, is playing at the basis of representations are Danish folk motifs. This year the main event of the festival will be staged by Pierre Millet-Renard, literature which served as the basis for the play "Warrior Starkad" by Pera Bukhoya, Danish actor and screenwriter, written in 1959.
