An exhibition devoted to design takes place in Denmark

Since April 29, 2010 in Copenhagen will begin a major exhibition dedicated to the design as one of the essential areas of human activity. It will be named "10+ Design Forecast" (that means "Design Forecast for 10 years") and will review progress achieved in the field of design that have occurred in the first decade of the new millennium. The exhibition will help to understand what design trends will play a more significant role in the future.

 

The exhibition will be held from April 29 to October 31, 2010.

At the beginning of the new millennium passed review and evaluate current trends in time and explore the trends that may be characteristic of the new time, draw picture of this sector in the near future. "10+ Design Forecast" will be devoted to design in Denmark, its directions, prevailing over the past ten years. The aim of the exhibition is to analyze what trends define our times, and what - will play a significant role in the future, that is, to determine the course of development of design in Denmark over the next decade or more. In addition, the exhibition will be devoted to studying the history of design since the inception of this trend until today. In addition to be gradually drawn a picture of the XXI century Danish design that will look at his character in the future.

The structure of the exhibition, and its form is based on the number 10 and a plus sign - these characters will be its distinctive character, and would often meet visitors in familiarizing them with the exhibits. The number 10 refers to the first ten years of the new millennium, as well as to the ten major examples, which will be given important place in the exhibition. Plus sign, respectively, has the value of all that, one way or another, complementary themes of the exhibition. Ten sites from different sides overlooking the current state of design in Denmark.

Life Design and its diversity.

The past ten years in the history of Danish design are of particular interest because during this time he passed a certain stage of development and has created a completely new direction, thanks largely to the development of digital technology and general technological progress. Design is no longer just a sphere, which accompanies the development and industrial design products. Today, design has a central position among the various sectors and used to help meet public demands in the areas of communications, services, production, and moreover it concerns the welfare of citizens, environmental issues, so that design is increasingly integrated into our lives.

Ten exposures show the visitor design, his breath and life, its diversity. The purpose of this exercise is to develop a new attitude to this area of activity, convey to the audience new knowledge and to consecrate its new capabilities, and open drop-down in the new millennium.
