The Danish-Russian theatre "Dialogue" celebrates its 10-years anniversary. On the stage of Copenhagen Russian Center for Science and Culture took place the celebratory performance, consisting from play fragments of little creative team, with its irreplaceable art director - Tatiana Derbeneva-Jakobsen.There were video fragments from their debut performance (2001) by play of Alexander Galin "Sorry", scenes from "Norwegian ballad" by stories of Konstantin Paustovskiy, "Marmosets" by play of Andrey Zinchuk and, of course, iconic staging of Copenhagen theatre - "Human trial. Empress Dagmar" by play of Vladimir Malyagin, written on request especially for this theatre. The play tells about the tragic destiny of Danish princess Dagmar, who became in Orthodoxy Maria Feodorovna, Empress Consort of Russia, mother of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II. The most vivid reaction of public created performance by children study group, working in the theatre "Dialogue". The music congratulation was presented by Saint-Petersburg pop group "Charm of Russia", the famous theatre critic Natalia Staroselskaya read aloud the congratulation letter form the Chairman of the Union of Theatre Workers of Russia, People's Artist of Russia Alexander Kalyagin, a lot of warm speeches were made by numerous guests from Russia and other countries, and the keynote in all congratulations were the words: "Russian culture never dies". The Danish-Russian theatre "Dialogue" was established in Copenhagen in 2000 by financial support of Russian businessmen working in Denmark. Since that time it became the real center of Russian culture in Northern Kingdom, where it has may be not very big, but faithful public – mixed Russian-Danish families, Russians living and working in the country and Danes, speaking Russian language. Along with theatre works "ART-club", where Russian countrymen can enjoy an interesting cultural environment – meet coming personalities from the Russian theatre world, discuss films, plays and performances. For the last decade "Dialogue" went many times on tour to Russia and to other countries, participated in international festivals. Under its belt are – mutual Danish-Russian projects, workshops with participation of Russian theatre actors in Denmark and their Danish colleagues in Russia, consultancy of Danish theatres, adapting for stage works by Russian writers. "We aim to create an art bridge between two cultures in our countries, - said in an interview to the newspaper «North Caucasus» Tatiana Derbeneva-Jakobsen, - to present fundamentals of Russian theatre traditions to Scandinavian public and art experts and to deepen knowledge about Danish theatre in Russia".
