Music of Rasmus Møldrup and Peter Helms included in the XX International Festival of Arts "From avant-garde till present days", which takes place in St Petersburg from 10 to 20 March 2011.The central theme of the festival dedicated to the art of XX century - "Kitsch: and not only" involves a large number of premiers, representing a paradoxical mix of sad and funny, famous and unknown, popular and elite. The founders of the festival: Culture Committee of St. Petersburg, Mariinsky Theatre, The Foundation "Music and Modernity Festival Artistic Director - Honoured Artist of Russia, composer Igor E Rogalev. Among the guests of the festival are composers and performers from USA, Switzerland, UK, Finland and Denmark. March 19 at the White Hall of the Polytechnic University of the concert, "Kitsch and not only (the right to laugh ..)" where twill perform "Impromptu Quintet" and Brass Band Kronverk Brass, artistic director - Ilya Kuznetsov; will be premiere of Rasmus Møldrupa for brass quintet and percussion. «Music for Strings» for the String Orchestra of Peter Helms will be first performed at the end of the festival (March 20) in the Small Hall of the Philharmonic, conductor - Vladimir Fanshil (Australia).
