March 23-27 Design Gallery / bulthaup with the architectural firm, Archi-do present an interactive exhibition project "GALLERY OFFICE 2010+1". Idea of Exhibition is to demonstrate the possibilities and prospects for the design of modern public space. Archi-do and Design Gallery / bulthaup analyze the accumulated experience in design and format of the exhibition illustrate the new approach to the solution of modern business space.

Initially there was a house and office as separate from each other space with different functions. At the turn of the concept of zero came «home-office» as a kind of third space for activities. In the workflow features have been incorporated at home. Archi-do offers from the concept of «home» take no physical comfort and spiritual and intellectual recreation. This holiday is combined with elements of creative learning, such as visiting galleries, exhibitions, theater. What happens if the match «home gallery» and «office», aesthetic pleasure and intellectual labor? Perhaps it is «gallery-office».

The exhibition presents a promising model of a modern public interior spaces in which architecture seamlessly combines objects re-edition and classic design. An important component of the modern interior as well be called a new concept DESIGN as ART, presented in the Design Gallery / bulthaup, where design objects are considered simultaneously as a functional piece of furniture and as a self-contained art object.

The exhibition is supported by the Danish Cultural Institute and the Institute of Finland in St. Petersburg.
