«Bjarke Ingels Group» presentation in St. Petersburg |

22 April 2011 at 18.00 in the educational program of the Biennale of modern architecture of St. Petersburg will be a presentation of the Danish architectural studio «Bjarke Ingels Group» («BIG»). «BIG» was founded in 2006 by architect Bjarke Ingels; studio is multiple winner of international competitions, in its portfolio arein its portfolio are residential complexes «VM BJERGET» and «8TALLET» in Denmark, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Astana, the new building of the Tallinn City Hall, Pavilion Denmark at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Kai-Uwe Bergmann, an associated partner companies involved in business development will tell about the project «BIG». One of the directions of Bergmann's work is «The Baku Villas», construction of resort and residential complex on the island of Zira (Azerbaijan). The exhibition "Architecture of St. Petersburg 2011", organized by the Foundation "Pro Arte", held from 19 to 24 April in the Marble Hall of the Russian Ethnographic Museum, presenting new works by St. Petersburg architect (projects and realized buildings), an educational program with lectures by leading St. Petersburg, Moscow and foreign architects and film program. Participation of Kai-Uwe Bergmann of the exhibition is supported by the Royal General Consulate of Denmark in St. Petersburg and the Danish Cultural Institute.
