Queen is preparing decorations for the Christmas ballet

Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will take part in creating of decorations and costumes for the new Christmas show in Tivoli - the ballet "The Nutcracker" which will premiere in November 2012.

 

Christmas ballet choreographer Peter Bo Bendixe) in his interview to «Ritzau» says that "The Nutcracker" at Tivoli, in his opinion, is an obvious opportunity for a family watching, where both children and adults can share their experiences with each other.

The Queen has just celebrated its 10th anniversary as a set designer in the Theatre of Pantomime, where she created four representations together with Dinna Bjorn and James Price.

One of the shows -"Thumbelina", which have been produced in 2005, will come back to the Theatre of Pantomime from July 2, 2011.
