КопенгагенA new Museum of Natural History will be opened soon in Copenhagen. According to Danish media "Licitationen - Byggeriets Dagblad", the museum will occupy an area of 37 thousand square meters, so the Danish University and Property Agency (DUPA) announced a concurance for the best project to provide technical consulting support.

It is planned to construct new buildings with a total area of 25 thousand square meters. At the same time a minimum of 15 thousand square meters of existing buildings will be reconstructed.

The new museum will replace the current State Historical Museum, which included Geological Museum, Zoological Museum, Botanical Museum and Botanical Garden.

The new museum should be placed at the current museum area near the Botanical Garden, the Geological Museum and the old building of the Technical University of Denmark.
