Vejle museums are going to improve

Even more interesting, captivating, and informative exhibitions at the museums of Vejle Municipality (kommune). This is what Vejle citizens can expect if the politicians accept the proposal to unite Vejle Museum (Vejleegnens Museer), Vejle Museum of Art (Kunstmuseet), and Historical workshops in Vingsted (Historiske Værksted i Vingsted) under one administration.

If it comes true the museums will be able to work better together, and produce large museum events for Vejle citizens.

“Vejle citizens and visitors will have a chance to look at the museums from an absolutely different perspective. They will become more spectacular and more experimental”, Ove Soerensen, Director of Vejle Museum, says.
 
The new united museum will also consist of several small museums, for example one in Randboeldal. However, Ove Soerensen denies that the small museums will get devoured by the big ones. On the contrary, they will have new opportunities open.

“Instead of two people spending most of their time doing office work, there will be made a team of professional museum workers who will work together on developing the museum in Randboeldal. Thus, the quality will highly grow”, he says.
