New kindergarten to be built in Denmark

New kindergarten with the wonderful title "Solar House" will be built in the Danish city Hørsholm. They will be yet another example of the use of modern technologies in the construction of environmentally sound buildings. Kindergarten is the first that actually produces energy. The creators of this project is the company Christensen & Co.

 

The building looks very compact. The architects have designed it in the form of a triangle with two sides slightly longer than the third.

Large windows along the walls in conjunction with the windows on the roof can miss a lot of light, so in the "Sunny house" lighting is much better than in conventional buildings.

The area around the kindergarten is an interpretation of some typical natural landscapes in Denmark. Here you can see the wooded area and a sandy area, which represents the coastline.

The project included education and another highlight. In greenhouses, near the kindergarten teachers with their children can grow flowers, vegetables and fruits.
