Danish Organ Caravan

On December 6, 2011 the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory’s Glazunov Hall hosts the concert entitled “J. S. Bach and Danish organ music.”  Bine Bryndorf, professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, and Kristian Krogsøe, organist at the Århus Cathedral will perform the works of Bach, Buxtehude, Bruhns, Gade, and Nielsen.  During the concert there will be a slideshow on Danish organs by Ole B. Olesen, the Danish Organ Registry, Copenhagen.

Ole B. Olesen’s lecture and workshop by Kristian Krogsøe will be held on December 5, at the St. Petersburg State University’s Faculty of Arts, where Bine Bryndorf will present her workshops on December 6&7.

In the framework of the Danish Organ Caravan Kristian Krogsøe performs at the Pomor State Philharmonic’s Chamber Hall on November 30 in Arkhangelsk, and at the Palace of Arts’ Big Stage in Kondopoga on December 3.

Visit of Bine Bryndorf, Kristian Krogsøe, and Ole B. Olesen is organized with the support from the Danish Organists and Cantors Society.
